The plant of energy and desire!
Maca has been cultivated over thousands of years on the high land of the Andes Mountains, up to 4,500 meters. The tuber is the most commonly used part of the maca plant, which is also known as "Peruvian ginseng". The Incas considered it a sacred plant and its use was reserved for high-ranking persons on whom it conferred great strength. Fleurance Nature has opted for a variety of maca grown using a traditional extensive farming approach on the high plateaux of the Junin region, in Peru. It is known to be a source of energy, to support physical performance (1,000 to 3,000 mg/day of root) and to regain young vitality for men and women (1.5 g/day of root).
