Eucalyptus, the plant that helps breathing!
The eucalyptus is a tree native to Australia and Tasmania, where it can grow up to 90 meters tall! Of the 450 species identified, a number have been introduced into Europe, adapting very well to the Mediterranean climate, where they grow to heights of up to 30 meters. The leaves of these trees have a bluish tinge and are characterized by their ability to change their shape and appearance as the tree grows. The eucalyptus is sometimes planted to drain the ground, but it is best known for its benefits to breathing. It contains a substance called "eucalyptol" in its leaves. Eucalyptus is particularly known to soothe the mouth and throat when taken in a dose higher than 2 mg/day.
